About Shawn Meunier

Shawn Meunier (pr. Moon-yay) voices a variety of characters on the popular anime series Bakugan. Voice credits include Preyas, Lythirus, Emperor Barodius, Mag Mel, Robin, Dragonoid Destroyer, and Balista. Shawn also voices Ryutaro and Julian Konzern on Beyblade, Paco the Penguin and Vito the Polar Bear in the CGI short film Spike: The World of Santa Claus (YTV), as well as Marlon and Bart in a Looney Toons inspired animated series titled Fish & Chips. Most recently, Shawn's been lending his voice to the children's programs Monster Math Squad (CBC), and The Cat in the Hat (PBS). Beyond the microphone, Shawn has been seen on stage at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the Shaw Festival, and played the lovable Ginger in the World Premiere musical of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton's The Boys in the Photograph (MTC/Mirvish).

Welcome to Shawn’s new WordPress site!

Shawn Meunier is the voice of the animated host ‘Lion’ on Kids’ CBC. “R-r-r-r-Roar!” He is also known for his many characters on the popular anime series’ Bakugan, and Beyblade. He was Paco the Penguin and Vito the Polar Bear in the CGI short film Spike: The World of Santa Claus (YTV). Voiced Marlon and Bart in a Looney Toons inspired animated series titled Fish & Chips. As well has been guests on both Monster Math Squad (CBC), and The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! (PBS).
